SPECIFICITIES OF WORKING WITH CLIENTS WITH EATING DISORDERS

Are you a professional who works with clients with eating disorders? Psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker, crisis interventionist? If your answer is YES, this course is made for you.
The main goal of the course is for professionals to gain practical information on how to work with a client with PPP and to gain greater competence in working in contact with them. Another goal is to familiarize professionals with the issue of PPP in its dynamics, to understand the issue from the patient's perspective and thus offer support and at the same time firm and kind boundaries in treatment.

getting acquainted with the treatment options for eating disorders
trends that are current and those that have proven to work for years
what is a client with PPP, what are his motives
how to work with a client sensitively and at the same time with regard to the somatic superstructure of the nature of the disease
how to work with the client's motivation - the difference between a child client and an adult in motivation, the course of treatment, etc.

COURSE LECTURERS
Mgr. Kristýna Wohlinová
Kristýna worked for years as a psychologist in the day care center for eating disorders at the General Hospital. She is currently working on completing her Ph.D. studies, where she focuses on emotional experiences in patients with eating disorders and the implementation of a new complementary method in the clinical environment. She regularly works with nutritional therapists in an interventional setting and is part of the training team of Prof. Papežová.
Mgr. Veronika Dostálová, Ph.D.
She graduated in single-discipline psychology, completed a five-year training in cognitive behavioral therapy and in . As part of her studies, she focused on researching sleep disorders in the Neurological Outpatient Clinic and the INSPAMED Sleep Counseling Center. She has several years of experience with patients from the day care center for eating disorders at the VFN. She currently works as a clinical psychologist at the Interse Praha outpatient clinic.
and as a guest Mgr. Veronika Kuncířová (nutritional therapist) - Kristýna works with clients in a team with nutritional therapist Veronika, with whom they meet regularly every month and discuss interdisciplinary treatment procedures. Veronika will therefore be present at the final discussion and it will be possible to ask questions about what interests you.
