Self-harm is an increasingly common phenomenon among children and adolescents. This issue raises many questions, uncertainties, and concerns. Knowing how to react well when self-harm appears in someone close to us is extremely important.

Mgr. Zuzka Kubíková and Mgr. Zuzka Karásková Ulbertová
Zuzana Karásková Ulbertová
is a psychologist by education (Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University) with twenty years of experience in crisis intervention and individual counseling with children, adolescents and adults. She has been teaching courses for workers in helping professions for many years. Since graduating, she has completed a number of courses and trainings (Crisis Intervention, Chat and Email Counseling Course, Basics of Gestalt Therapy and Logotherapy, TRE Technique Course, Motivational Interviewing, Relaxation Techniques and Psychodiagnostic Methods).
Zuzana Kubíková
She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague in Social Pedagogy and Counseling. She completed a 3-year education in family therapy and training in mediation, and then a number of other courses (Working with Trauma, Crisis Intervention, Chat and Email Counseling Course, Motivational Interviewing, Timeline Work, Basics of Transactional Analysis and others). He teaches courses and trainings for the public. He has been working with clients for almost twenty years, both individually and with entire families.
