COURSE CONTENT

Is it about self-harming by someone close to you? Are you at a loss, do you feel that you need more support than from articles and conversations with your loved ones?

Come try our support group, which offers information about why people self-harm, how to react when someone close to you self-harms, and how to handle such a period with a cool head.

You are not alone. Sharing your own experiences, emotions, advice, and tips can be healing.

We offer you two early evening meetings in an intimate group with a maximum capacity of 16 parents who are dealing with similar problems as you.

Zuzka Kubíková and Zuzka Karásková Ulbertová

Zuzana Karásková Ulbertová

is a psychologist by education (Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University) with twenty years of experience in crisis intervention and individual counseling with children, adolescents and adults. She has been teaching courses for workers in helping professions for many years. Since graduating, she has completed a number of courses and trainings (Telephone Crisis Intervention, Chat and Email Counseling Course, Basics of Gestalt Therapy and Logotherapy, TRE Technique Course, Motivational Interviewing, Relaxation Techniques and Psychodiagnostic Methods).

Zuzana Kubíková

She graduated in Social Pedagogy and Counseling at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She completed a 3-year education in family therapy and mediation training, and then a number of other courses (Working with trauma, a course in telephone crisis intervention, chat, e-mail counseling, Motivational interviewing, Working with the timeline, the basics of transactional analysis and others). She lectures courses and trainings for the public. She has been working with clients for almost twenty years, both individually and with entire families.
